Gates of Olympus App: Mobile Play and Fake APKs
There's no official Gates of Olympus app. Pragmatic Play makes the game for casinos, not for app stores, and it runs in any modern mobile browser. Anything sold as a standalone "Gates of Olympus app" or APK is, at best, not the real game. Here's how to play safely on a phone.

Is there an official Gates of Olympus app?
No. Pragmatic Play is a game supplier: it licenses Gates of Olympus to online casinos, which show it on their websites and in their own apps. It doesn't publish the game as a standalone app on the App Store or Google Play, and there's nothing to download from Pragmatic Play to play for real money.
That leaves two legitimate ways to play on a phone: in the mobile browser at a licensed casino, or in that casino's own app where it has one. In both cases the game loads from Pragmatic Play's servers, the same as on a computer.
Playing Gates of Olympus in a mobile browser
The game is built in HTML5, so it runs in Safari, Chrome and other modern browsers on iOS and Android. It works in portrait and landscape. In portrait the grid fills the width of the screen and the bet, spin and settings buttons move below the reels.
Everything is the same as on desktop: the paytable, the multipliers, the free spins, the Ante Bet and, where allowed, the bonus buy. The math doesn't change with the device. The settings menu has a battery saver option, which helps in long sessions.
- Use a stable connection: a dropped connection mid-spin is settled by the server, and you can check the result in Game History.
- Turn off quick and turbo spin if you want to keep track of your spending; on a small screen sessions move fast.
- Set deposit and time limits in your casino account before you play on the go.
Casino apps
Many licensed casinos have their own apps, and Gates of Olympus usually appears in them like any other game. A casino app is fine if it comes from the casino you already use and is licensed where you live.
Download from the casino's site or an official store
Follow the link on the casino's own website. In regulated markets such as the UK, casino apps are usually available in the official stores.
Check the license
The app should show the same license as the casino's website, and the license number should be in the regulator's public register.

Fake Gates of Olympus apps and APKs
Searches for "Gates of Olympus APK" or "Gates of Olympus apk download" lead to many sites offering the game as a file to install. None of them comes from Pragmatic Play. At best they're play-money clones; at worst they're malware or fronts for unlicensed betting sites.
Fake versions of Pragmatic Play games, Gates of Olympus among them, have also turned up on scam sweepstakes sites. Some paid out well in play-money mode to encourage a deposit. Since September 2025, Pragmatic Play hasn't supplied US sweepstakes casinos at all, so a "Pragmatic" game on one of them is a strong sign of a copy.
- An APK file to "sideload", or a request to allow installs from unknown sources
- "Official Gates of Olympus app" from anyone other than a licensed casino
- Promises of a higher RTP, a "hack", a predictor or "gacor" times
- Requests for card details or deposits through a messenger
- No rules screen, or one without an RTP line and the max-win rule
