All Gates of Olympus Games: The Complete Series

Ten official games carry the Gates of Olympus name, from the 2021 original to the 2500. Most keep Zeus's 6x5 pay-anywhere grid and change one big thing. Here's what each one changes, with the RTP and max win side by side.

The five main slots share the same paytable, tumbles and 15 free spins. What changes is the multiplier ceiling, the max win and the extras around the bonus. Figures for the games we've reviewed come from their own rules screens; the rest from Pragmatic Play and review sites, as noted.

2021 to 2026

The series year by year

Gates of Olympus launched in February 2021 as "a highly-volatile experience" and became one of the most played slots in the world. Pragmatic Play then did what it does with its biggest hits: kept the grid and raised the stakes.

In 2026 the name also moved beyond the 6x5 slot. Gates of Olympus Roulette brought Zeus to a live dealer table in April, and Gates of Olympus POP opened Pragmatic Play's casual POP line in August. Dice versions of the original and the 1000 exist for markets where dice games are licensed differently, and Pachi is a small 3x3 game that shares only the theme.

Our take

Which Gates of Olympus should you play?

All five main slots pay back about the same over time: 96.49% to 96.55% in their top versions, whatever mode you choose. So the real question is how you want that return spread out.

Whichever you pick, check the RTP line in the game's rules at your casino. Every game in the series can be set lower by the casino, and our RTP guide shows where to look.

Beyond the 6x5 grid

Dice, Pachi, POP and Roulette

Gates of Olympus Dice and 1000 Dice

Dice versions swap the gems and relics for dice symbols so they can be offered in markets with separate dice-game rules, Belgium being the main one. Otherwise they follow the original and the 1000: the same grid, multipliers, max wins and 100x buy. Sources disagree on some details, such as the scatter pays, so check the rules screen before playing.

Gates of Olympus Pachi

Pachi shares the name and Zeus, but not the game. It's a 3x3 slot with 27 lines and no tumbles, built around Thunder Respins and two free spins modes, with multipliers up to 91x only in Super Free Spins. Review sites list RTPs of 96.04%, 95.04% and 94.04% and a 5,000x max win.

Gates of Olympus POP

POP is the first game in Pragmatic Play's casual POP line: a 3x5 portrait grid where 5 or more matching symbols anywhere pay, with tumbles and multipliers up to 1,000x that stay for the whole tumble sequence. Super Scatters award three fixed POP prizes: 50x, 500x and 25,000x. The RTP needs checking: Pragmatic Play's page says 96.54%, while the launch coverage says 97.05%. We'll review it once we've seen the rules screen.

Gates of Olympus Roulette

A live dealer roulette game. Each round draws Lucky Numbers paying 50x to 250x on straight-up bets and a Bonus Number that, if it wins, sends the player to a Zeus slot round with 15 spins and multipliers up to 500x. The top win is 2,500x in the main game and 10,000x in the bonus. OLBG lists a 97.30% RTP.

Don't mix them up

Games that aren't part of the series

Several slots look or sound similar but are separate games, sometimes from other studios.

  • Starlight Princess

Pragmatic Play's anime twin of Gates of Olympus, with the same grid and orbs. Its 1000 version mirrors Gates of Olympus 1000.

  • Gates of Hades and Gates of Valhalla

Pragmatic Play games with "Gates" in the name, but different grids and rules: Hades is a 6x6 cluster game, Valhalla a 5x5.

  • Rise of Olympus, Gates of Olympia

Not Pragmatic Play at all: Rise of Olympus is a Play'n GO slot, Gates of Olympia an Expanse Studios game. Don't confuse them with the real thing.

Also not yet released, as of October 2026: a Gates of Olympus 1000 Super Scatter and any scratchcard version. Pages claiming otherwise are guessing.

Frequently asked questions

How many Gates of Olympus games are there?

Ten official games as of October 2026: the original, 1000, Xmas 1000, Super Scatter, 2500, POP, Roulette, Dice, 1000 Dice and Pachi. The first five share the classic 6x5 pay-anywhere game.

Which Gates of Olympus has the biggest max win?

Super Scatter, at 50,000x the bet, reached only with four Super Scatters in one trigger. The 2500 and POP follow at 25,000x, then the 1000 and Xmas 1000 at 15,000x and the original at 5,000x.

Which Gates of Olympus has the best RTP?

Among the 6x5 slots the differences are tiny: 96.52% for the 2500, 96.55% for Super Scatter with the Ante Bet, and 96.50% for the original and the 1000 versions. What matters more is whether your casino runs the top version at all.

Which version is best for beginners?

The original Gates of Olympus. It has the fewest options and the lowest cap, which makes results less extreme than in the sequels.
